This privacy notice has been drafted by Building Markets (“BM”) in its capacity as data controller, as an organization granted permission for direct activities in Turkey, in accordance with Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. BM shall process your personal data (first and last name, phone number, email address, age, gender, nationality, education level, city of residency, photos, videos) which you shared BM via surveys that will be conducted by BM regarding research activities through automatic or non-automatic means for the purpose of conducting research activities and preparing and publishing research reports, your participation in training activities carried out by the BM and carrying out post training business development and social support activities, performing mentorship activities to you and your business by the BM based on the legal grounds that “the processing activity is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject are not harmed.” as provided for by Art 5 Sec 2 of the Law; transfer your data to real persons and legal entities with the same purposes and legal grounds in a manner only limited to the stated purposes. You will be contacted through channels such as SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, Twitter within the scope of the abovementioned purposes through use of the contact information you have provided Good case practices of participants benefiting from business development and social support activities and photos and/or audios and/or videos sent to the BM by them will be shared via social media and other internet channels. You may submit your request to BM via [email protected] within the scope of Article 11 of the Law concerning “the rights of the data subject” in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.
