The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with Building Markets and other stakeholders, will host the second MSME Conference in April 2014 and is seeking 50 top local MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) to apply to be a part of the trade fair. You don’t want to miss out!
Last year, over 400 guests attended per day, including Honorable President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf herself. As a business in the trade fair, you have the opportunity to showcase your goods and services to all guests and establish new business relationships. Last year, businesses won over $500,000 in contracts directly from the conference!
Businesses in the fair will also receive free training from partner organizations in topics such as general procurement, financial management and accounting, and branding and packaging. Take your business to the next level with free training!
As a Trade Fair recipient you will get the chance to network with members of international investment firms, government ministries, banks, NGOs, UN agencies and private companies working in Liberia and looking for top local suppliers, and regional and international experts in private sector development. The Conference is full of possibilities to learn better business skills, acquire new clients and promote your business!
To be eligible, your business must be registered and operate in the following sectors: agriculture, catering, construction, lodging, services (including consulting, cleaning, IT, security, waste management, etc) textiles, transportation and logistics, and woodworking.
