Hi to all!
Yesterday we went to the Log Base to meet the NGOs and procurement officers present at the early recovery meeting.
As last time , we got great welcome from the International Organization staff present at the meeting, who seemed to be very interested by PDT!
It’s a proof that the teams from the field perfectly understand our approach and want really to contribute to buy local if they can.
Sometimes we could think that the NGOs don’t want to buy local or are not interested in what haitian businesses have. It’s a prejudice we have all, but in these meetings we discover that the international staff present in Haïti find our initiative really great and full of possibilities for them.
Our work shows us the reality from the field, and breaks up many prejudices.
