The 3rd annual Sustainable Haiti Conference scheduled for April 23-25, 2012 in Miami Beach, Florida will feature special forums on investment, construction, and entrepreneurship, as well as networking sessions to link capital with projects.

The annual event is the most comprehensive economic development conference on Haiti, attracting hundreds of participants including entrepreneurs and investors from around the globe, Haitian companies and government officials, US companies with a presence in Haiti, US government officials, nongovernmental organizations, faith-based groups, academic leaders, and major international media. The conference will feature 40 workshops and panels.

The investment forum presented by the Haitian Diaspora Federation will focus on the necessity of sustained investments that create jobs, particularly by Haitians living abroad.

“The rebuilding of this great nation will take the collective effort of many creative and talented social entrepreneurs, investors, and philanthropists from around the world,” explained conference founder John Rosser. “We want to continue to support our friends and neighbors in Haiti at this critical time in its history.”

The event will be held at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
